My path with Chiropractic started with an injury to my neck. After much persuading by my mom, I finally gave Chiropractic a try. I have not blinked about that decision since. Chiropractic care was able to keep me active throughout my youth, into college and continues to keep me active in adulthood. I continue to get regular, weekly, wellness adjustments today.
— David Carr, D.C.

Dr. David has been a licensed chiropractor since 2014.  He is committed to improving the local communities of Boyertown, Gilbertsville, New Berlinville, Amityville, Stowe and surrounding areas.

Dr. David has sustained multiple injuries throughout his athletic career.  First was a neck injury, which introduced Chiropractic care as a health routine.  Small muscle strains and ligament tears were somewhat common during the wrestling season.  A career ending injury occurred the summer before his Junior year in high school.  A bad shoulder dislocation ended his wrestling career and led to years of on and off physical therapy and eventually surgery.  After the surgery, the shoulder was severely weakened.  The expectations of limited athletics including substantial loss in Range of Motion (ROM) were quickly realized.

Dr. David was able to return to light athletic activities with years of regular maintenance, which included Chiropractic care.  The ROM was still severely limited regardless of the years of work put into the shoulder.  That was until he met Rob Luckey, DC in Rochester, NY.  With Dr. Luckey and his partner's assistance, the ROM in the shoulder was dramatically increased in the matter of just a couple visits.

This treatment opened Dr. David's concept of what was possible through Chiropractic care.  The injuries Dr. David sustained and his care given by the overseeing Chiropractors are a main reason he chose to be a Chiropractor.  Now he is able to give back with what was given to him.

A Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration was earned at State University of New York Oswego and a Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) was earned at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY in March of 2014.  During school, Dr. David's focus was not only on studies but helping others as well.  He took advantage of the opportunity to improve the community through starting a youth assistance program as well as assisting fellow students in their studies by tutoring in his spare time in every discipline.  This not only began fulfilling his desire to help people but also secured as much knowledge as possible of the human body.  Immediately after graduation that knowledge was put to work.
